Your Personal Trainer
I’ve been a trainer at Timberline Fitness since 2010, helping clients in the Houston area change the way they look and feel. A healthy lifestyle starts with a fit body. As your Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer, I will identify your fitness goals, design a program that fits your needs and lead you through every workout.Getting in shape shouldn’t be a punishment. It’s an amazing and empowering lifestyle decision that anyone can make. I believe in finding the pleasurable side of fitness; and while there may be a sore muscle or two along the way, the benefits of fitness is worth the discomfort. I have developed my training regime by working with a variety of people, and always love adapting my program to new clients.
My experience and holistic approach to health and fitness will help you achieve the best version of you, inside and out. Put on those workout clothes and let’s start your fitness journey.

Every"body" is unique and I customize workouts based on an individuals personal goals or physical limitations. I like to marry the pilates method and traditional weight training to give you the best of both worlds and help maximize your results.
PILATES REFORMER/CHAIR CLASSES
Practiced consistently, Pilates builds muscle tone especially in the abs, thighs, glutes, and legs - better coordination and flexibilty are also a nice bonus! This workout requires you to work against resistance that can be adjusted using the springs on the reformer. Training with resistance builds strength, and although Pilates doesn’t look like it’s burning a ton of calories or breaking a sweat, the long-term benefits of more lean muscle mass are great, including an increased metabolism.
Classes use Reformers and Chairs along with all the traditional Pilates props- Magic Circles, Boxes, and Jumpboards just to name a few. Classes are capped at an 8 people maximum to allow proper attention to all.

All sessions, classes and metabolic testing are done at Timberline Fitness, a studio that is owned and managed by Dean Theriot since 1996. After 24 years in the same location, Timberline has a brand new facility to call home. Located in Montrose it is a convenient option for those who live or work in downtown Houston, Midtown, The Medical Center, West University, and the Heights.
